OUR STORY
About us
We're just two college students from Austin, Texas, who want to bring something new to the idol community and pay homage to a subset of the fandom that we feel has been underrepresented. By creating this group we hope to share our love for male idols in a positive way that will inspire others to have fun and be themselves. Now that our team has grown in size we are excited to accomplish even more on our journey into the future.
We cover groups such as TRIGGER (pssst this is our favorite), RayGlanZ, Utapri, and many others. Please look forward to our content and we hope you will support us as we try new things!
Influence
The theme for our group is loosely based off of the Greek myth Jason and the Argonauts. The name of the group, Argo, comes from the ship that Jason and his crew sailed in to find the Golden Fleece. This symbol then represents the journey of this project as we search for our own Golden Fleece.
Each member of our group has an 'Idol Original Character' based on a member of the Argonauts who they will use during non-cosplay performances and covers. From Jason to Heracles, each member brings their unique talents to the crew; therefore, together, whatever perils we face, we can succeed as the mighty Argonauts
Our Logo
The Greek letter delta is often used in mathematics to symbolize change. In Argo we want to foster an environment that pushes for growth and improvement; therefore we use delta to symbolize ourselves as we work towards our goals!
